Jharkhand TET 2024 Exam Date

Eligibility Criteria
Paper I:
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years; no upper age limit.
- Educational Qualification: Passed Intermediate with at least 50% aggregate and completed a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or a four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education.
Paper II:
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 years; no upper age limit.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree and either a two-year Bachelor’s of Education or a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Candidates with a four-year Bachelor’s of Science/Arts & Bachelor’s of Education (Integrated) are also eligible.
Application Fee
- General, BC, EWS:
- ₹1300 for a single paper
- ₹1500 for both papers
- SC, ST, PWD:
- ₹700 for a single paper
- ₹800 for both papers
Exam Pattern
The Jharkhand TET 2024 will consist of 150 objective-type questions per paper, with each question carrying 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect or unattempted questions. The exam duration for each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes, and the medium will be both English and Hindi.
- Paper I: For candidates aspiring to teach classes I to V.
- Paper II: For candidates aspiring to teach classes VI to VIII.
